Hello Adlanders,
As the Christmas Holidays are upon us, most everyone is
concerned with making plans to be with family, and taking
advantage of all those special deals available for purchasing
gifts and deciding whether they are going to drive or fly
this year. With fuel prices down a little, alot of folks are
chosing to drive.

Here are the top ten items that are trending now, according
to Yahoo News:

This month I've chosen to feature Maurice Bernier, who has
graced Adland since Wednesday, March 12, 2003, and is from
Kitchener, Canada. Interestingly enough, my mother spent some
time in Kitchener as a child :)

As you prepare for the Christmas Holidays this year, please
try to remember the reason for the season, and keep Christ
in your plans.

    Sincerely,

         James Wright

            Maurice Bernier

After being approached by James to submit this article for the
gazette, I did a lot of "Ho Humming" about whether or not I
should do it or not since my other duties as owner of my own
program keep me extremely busy these days.

My inner soul got the best of me by making me realize that if I
didn't do this, I would feel eternally guilty for not having given
back just a tiny particle of thanks for what I have received from
Adlandpro to this date!

Having been a member since I think 2003 and slowly getting to
know Bogdan and the rest of our great community, I have had a
break through of sorts and man how stupid I've been for not
noticing it much sooner.

So what is my breakthrough you ask?

Simply this!
Adlandpro is one of the first if not the first social program to
ever exist and I now promote it as such. Believe it or not, just
making that statement when visiting other copies like Facebook,
Twitter and the likes will get you lots of signups to your affiliate
links.

Something else that Adlandpro is probably the very first at is
being able to make money without investing a single cent. As my
personal affiliate rank continues to change from month to month,
I have finally made it to the top 100 affiliates with this months
ranking being 69 out of over 40,000.

Sure I'm blowing my own horn and it did take me time to get here
but, it just goes to show that persistance does indeed pay off.

I now get paid almost every month and my total investment has
been a whopping $0.00.

Enough about me but how about you?

If you haven't become a qualified affiliate by spending nadda,
$0.00, what on earth are you waiting for? Bogdan will pay you
for not spending! How many gurus or opportunity owners do you
know on the Internet that have created something that has
withstood the test of time, charged you nothing and paid you for
being a member?

What we have here is something very special folks and Bogdan,
thanks for bringing it to us!

You are truly one of the first masterminds to ever hit the Internet
and in my mind at least, "Do Not Get The Praise You Deserve!"

It has been my total pleasure to be a part of your great community
and I look very much forward to many more years of great
community participation with all who belong.

Once more Bogdan, my whole hearted thanks on behalf of the whole
community for sharing your dream with us. You have made me a
better person just by allowing me to participate!

November is a month where the leaves have fallen, the
temperatures turn cold, nasty weather evolves and some
of the worst storms of the season seam to find their way
into our lives. Unfortunately, this is my birthday month,
and yes, I don't need another birthday, but come as it
may, I might as well make the best of it.

Congratulations goes to Douglas Moon, for coming the
closest to getting all the questions right on the quiz.

I have another 8 questions that I'm going to share with
you to finish up this quiz that began last month.

Here they are:
11. What is the inscription on the tablet the Statue of
Liberty holds in her left hand?
12. What is the name of the Ohio girl who became the
most expert riflewoman in U.S history?
13. What is a campanile?
14. Where in the U.S. did women first have the right to
vote?
15. Who was the Greek god of War?
16. What do penguins do to enable them to dive for
their food?
17. Where and when did the greatest battle in U.S
history take place?
18. What are the seven states that comprise the Arab
League?

Once the Gazette is published, you will have 24 hours
to come up with the correct answers without any help
from the internet, or anywhere else.

Please send your answers to jameswright56@gmail.com

May the best person win :)

This month I'm honoring Roger Bjornerud.   As you may
know, I'm one quarter Norwegian... My grandfather on
my mother's side immigrated from there. He was a
Johanson, but changed his name to Jensen.

Adland has been blessed with Roger's presence since
Monday, May 22, 2006.  Please welcome him to the
Centerstage.

Roger, I had the privilege of visiting Tenerife in 1967.
As you know there was a terrible disaster there in
1977.

As you prepare for the Thanksgiving Season, please
remember to tell those who are important in your life
how important they really are, and that you are so
thankful to have them there with you. Once they are
gone you cannot tell them anymore.

    May God Richly Bless You.

CENTERSTAGE FOR NOVEMBER, 2011
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello Adlanders,
I live in Norway, I am married and have 3 children.
when I have some spare time I like playing games and
watching movies with my family. Most things are more
fun if you do them with someone.

I love music, almost any kind as long as it's good.
I listen to music all day long, and I am happy to see
that my children love music too, and often introduce
me to new exciting artists.

I also like to travel, and so does the rest of the
family. We just got back from 14 days on Tenerife,
which was great. Going to Sweden to celebrate with
700 other LR people in November and Prague in
December to play a GSOP Live tournament.

Have to come up with something fun for January 2012.
Probably going to the yearly launchparty for LR,
which will be in Sweden next year.

I have been marketing online for over a decade.
Amazing to realize that so much time has gone by
already. The place I always return to is AdlandPro.

AdlandPro is great fun, but sometimes just a little
complicated. Love the ability to contact so many
marketers and being able to target the ones I think
will appreciate what I offer. Lots of nice people
there. :)

I have loved the concept of MLM from the first time
I got introduced to it by a friend of mine many years
ago.

Loving something and being successful is not the same
thing. :)

After many years I found the right company for me.
Actually it was my wife who found it, but she didn't
really see what she found (all she wanted was a blue
eyeliner).

The company we found was LR Health and Beauty. It
could stand for Lisbeth and Roger. I like to think of it
that way, and we say it all the time. ;)

It's nice to be with a company that has been around for
more than 25 years and keeps on improving constantly.

If you visit my webpage here on AdlandPro you will
see that I am looking for partners in other countries.

Here's some tips for you and me. Yes, I need to follow
these tips too. ;)

Focus on what you are doing while you are doing it.
Complete what you have started. Know what you want to
accomplish. Making a list is not a bad tip either.

If you don't know where you're going, how are you going
to get there? Asking for directions is a good idea. ;)

Have Fun! :)

October is a month of harvests, pumpkin patches, and
scarecrows, of falling leaves and colorful hews and
silhouettes of sunsets as the temperatures drop and the
night deepens in the northern hemisphere.

October leads us into one of the busiest and hopefully
successful time for internet marketers, and others as the
holiday season approaches.

This month I've got a special treat for one person. Bogdan
has agreed to give the first person who answers the questions
below correctly and without cheating, a free membership to
his Social Network Package. This service creates accounts
automatically on over 70 community networks and creates
a page with access to each of those networks. This package
has a value of $29.50. If you already have this package,
you can either have it extended or Bogdan will provide you
with a substitute package.

Below are the 10 questions for you to contemplate. Enjoy :)

1. Who are the Walloons?
2. In horse-racing jargon, what is a maiden?
3. How much starch does corn contain?
4. What is a minuend?
5. How many countries of the world have a larger population
than the US?
6. What are the five official working languages of the UN
General Assembly?
7. What is a graupel?
8. What did John Hancock say when he put his signature to
the Declaration of Independence?
9. What is the world's largest man-made lake?
10. Who was the first Christian Emperor of Rome

This month I've chosen to honor a long time Adlander to the
realms of Centerstagedom. Her name is Diane Bjorling. She
at first did not want to do it, but I'm thankful she gave in!
Please welcome Diane to the Adland Centerstage.

May you continue to be blessed in all your endeavors!

CenterStage for October
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wait just a second, I've got something important
to share with you here.

I know your inbox is flooded with offers such as
an assortment of "must have" products and "insider
tips" that will cost you a ton of your hard earned
money and even more of your precious time. Yes,
I've been suckered into a few of those...and I also
know how easy it is to come up with the most lame
excuses as to why you can't be successful... so
here's the deal...

You've got to start thinking outside the box, and
here's how you will do it...

You must believe in yourself. If you don't, nobody
else will. There is definite truth in the statement
in Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) that says "As he thinketh in
his heart, so is he."

You need to think like a leader, and take action.
He who snoozes, loses. They also say the early bird
catches the worm. Don't make excuses, or you WILL
be a looser.

Invest in yourself. Study, learn, glean from those
who have already been there. Especially if they are
willing to share. Find a mentor.

Make a commitment, and stick to it. Dig in, get your
hands dirty, and DON'T EVER GIVE UP, come hell or
high water. You give up, you're a guaranteed loser.

Set a goal for yourself. If you are going to really
be successful, you've got to spend a minimum of at
least two to three hours per day not reading emails,
but doing work. This includes mailing to safelists,
and all the other marketing tools that are available,
including web 2.0 and 3.0.

You'll want to learn how to get automated leads and
signups for your business and to leverage the power
of the internet that's unstoppable, and technology
to sponsor new distributors on command while you
are simultaneously profiting from multiple streams
of income.

Don't jump from program to program until you are in
a money making position to do so. Get your minimum
number of prospects and don't stop there. Because
most of those prospects will fail. Unfortunately,
statistics show that only 1 in 95 prospects will be
a success. I know this sounds depressing, but there
are ways to get prospects other than one by one.
Although this method takes longer, it does work. If
you can get two or three hundred prospects into your
program then you can move on to something else.
Otherwise you will be joining program after program,
not doing anything then wondering why you are not
making any money. Remember, you've got to establish
trust, then prospects will become customers.

Here's the secret...The only way that you’ll achieve
YOUR dreams, and achieve your goals is by diligently
applying yourself and by leveraging the most cutting
edge & intelligent resources and knowledge you can.

Because when you learn from the smartest and most
insightful people in our industry who actually know
how to create the results YOU want, you'll quickly
achieve levels of success in your business that most
“wannabes” only dream of.

Once you've made your commitment GO FOR IT and
plug into the most cutting edge strategies for growing
your business that exist on the planet, you WILL
achieve whatever goals and whatever lifestyle you
desire...

See You At The Top.

Isn't it funny, I had to look to see how long I had
been with the Adland community ( no not old age...lol)
and I have been a member since Thursday, April 27,
2006..quite amazing!

While I may not have remembered the exact date, I do
remember the time and how I came to be here.

Like many people, I first went on line to play games,
find music, recipes and all those cool things and it
was after talking to some people who were not working,
that my thoughts turned to working online, could it be
done, how did one go about finding something that would
work, would not be a scam and to be very honest would
not have my kids worry or laugh at me.

Considering that at that time, I did not understand
what a browser was and I typed using two fingers,
one can understand my wonderful daughters mirth and
of course their very real concern.

After doing the typical search of "working online"
home business" and all the other search phrases that
many people do, I came to the conclusion that my kids
were right, but also they could be wrong.

I started a quest that has lasted to this day to be
honest and that was... learning about the net, learning
about what will work and conversely won't work for
people and that has meant doing just about everything
the hard way and yes being duped by the scams and
spending money I really did not have (remember my
daughters concerns?) I digress..sorry :(

It so happened that I heard about Adland from another
advertising place when doing my typical asking for
help about how to do things, they ( and I think they
were getting very frustrated with me) suggested that
I go to AdlandPro...so I did.

At first I placed ads and then more ads (thats what
you were supposed to do wasnt it..lol) and noted all
the links and being curious I clicked on "networking"
and wham I entered a world I did not know exisited.

I had to register and give a username..having never
done that before, I spent a glorious few hours thinking
of names ( don't groan please) I came up with the name
helgit which was a hero from a science fiction book
that I was reading at the time, never really
understanding what I was doing.

For those of you who are fairly new, you would have
to understand Adland at that time. Adland had the
social aspect that many now consider Facebook, It had
the interest grab, which many think of Twitter and it
had the expression of Youtube and the place was just
plain friendly and exciting for many.

I feel that many of us who joined around that time,
feel the same way, this became a home away from home
and many many good friends were made that for some
have lasted to this day.

Over and above the friendships that were forged, I
learned so many things from the people at Adland -
learning how to be social, learning the basics of
marketing and just sharing some darn good music.

I have never considered myself popular, usually when
I had or have something to say I will and at times I
have been called many things the least of which is I
am controversial (that to me is a compliment)..but
the one thing I have always done my best to be is
honest and credible.

Adland has changed, but then so have we all and many
of us have left the nest of Adland, but one thing I
will say..I will never forget Adland and like many
homing pigeons I will come back from time to time or
I will bump into good friends here and there and we
will share good times and like good friends we will
laugh and reminise.

So what am I doing now you ask? Still learning, still
growing and still doing my best to help others..now
a days that means showing people how to navigate the
social media, how to create good content for blogs
and how to succeed....there is one other thing I am
doing..but that is for another day.

To all of you, have fun and may you find your own
success.

Diane Bjorling

Hello Adlanders,
They say there are those who have... and there are those
who will... in this case, receive a backdoor trojan on
their computer. I have been blessed with one that I could
not get rid off and it has caused me fits to the point I
had to totally flush my pc and start over again. Needless
to say, I will not click on a link in an instant message
again. I've been told not to do that in the past, but it
seems the human mind is always willing to try something
until it gets hurt.

This month I've chosen to feature a friend and cohort who
has blessed us with his presence here at Adland since Friday,
May the 19th, 2006. He's been running a successful venture
at Bizzyblogz. Please welcome Thomas Richmond to the
Centerstage for the month of September, 2011.

Sincerely,

"Greetings all, Thomas here.. since my presence online
October 2005 i had only two degrees, one in computers
(windows xp) and the other in (office 03), the major
thing they don't teach you in computer school is the
bulk of how to make money online.

The last degree i got from 2006 was in Marketing
Management, i took an online course. From then it was
all who knows who and how can other marketers help me
thru communities like Adlandpro and bizzyblogz which i
currently own, many money marketing programs i have been
in, im not one for m king dollars a day , i needed more
just to keep my belly full with some sort of steady money
rolling in.

One-- any marketer must have is their own website,
affiliate marketing is great.. when you market to rich
people. But the main way of making a good income is to
have your own website, to affiliate marketing is an added
bonus much like an extra income, and second you must have
some kind of leverage, an affiliate program of your own.

With the skills i have i was lucky to manage a community
business website called Bizzy Blogz. Biz, i learned SEO
from just observing and getting into seo online webinars,
not joining any program exept for an opt-in email update
but to listen to what others have done, so i baught an SEO
website /w an affiliate program added to it (smart?) i think
so. My first experience online working for myself since Jan
2008. I have just recently have become partners with the top
#1 Traffic Gurus Dan Moses and Mark Brown and appointed
me Admin of Gone Clicking Traffic.

Once a hobby of mine was helping musicians market their
music, using a blog i market musicians now but still have
my two websites for the masses to use out there at the same
time. So many of us are searching for that niche , most times
we lose site of that due to to many distractions so we lose
time and lose money while trying to figure stuff out.

Here's my best advice for you, always keep in the know of how
things run by listening to what top marketers are saying.

There are 2 rules in marketing;

#1 Is To Never Give Up!
#2 Is to Never Forget Rule #1

Thank you for reading.

To Your Success,

Thomas (Power Pack) Richmond. "

This month is one of reflections... of two people whom without, I'd
never be... my parents, Pastor and Mrs Burton and Myrna Wright. Two
dedicated persons who have shared their lives together for the past
60 years, celebrated their momentous occasion on the 29th of July.
Below is a short excerpt of what happened leading to this occasion
back in 1949. They were married in 1951.
----------------------
After participating in  their friend’s wedding, Burt took Myrna for
a spin in his father’s car.  Reaching a pleasant, scenic spot, Burt stopped.
Handing Myrna a silver dollar, he asked her what it said.

“ E Pluribus Unim,” she softly read.

“What else?” he questioned.

“In God we trust,” Myrna read.

“Anything else?”

“United we stand,” Myrna read.

“Can we make that our motto for life?” Burt questioned.

Myrna was thrilled, and eventually accepted.
-----------------------

I intended to share some photos with you here, but unfortunately, while
transferring files from my cell phone, all my pics were lost. Some of you
may remember the prayer circle that was created for my mother when
she had surgery on her neck back in 2007. She is doing as well as can
be expected under the circumstances, but remains in alot of pain.

This month I'm honoring another long time Adlander, Joyce Parker Hyde.
Joyce joined Adland on Friday, February 4, 2005, and resides in New
Orleans. If she is not on your list of friends, be sure to send her an invitation.
Please welcome Joyce to the Centerstage.

    May God Bless,

Centerstage for August, 2011

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Joyce Parker Hyde

There are 9 windows on my side of the house. Long ones, medium ones and smaller one.

Every time I am asked to write a one page BIO it feels very much like deciding which
window do I want to look into. Look into any one at various times of day and you will
get an entirely different impression of what kind of person lives there.

Most of the rooms are a complete mess; looking from the outside in; from the inside
it's more like controlled chaos. Living a life within the borders of my other lives.

These days I get my philosophy lessons from opening and closing scenes of television
shows. Criminal minds quotes two on each episode-gives you something to think about
other than the deranged people who live among us. My favorite is "The lives of the
dead are deposited into the memory of the living" Plato-I think.

There is a reason that death and the dead live in the forefront of my mind. I've been
in very close proximity to way too much of it for as long as I can remember-at least
for 20 years. Reminded that death takes ordinary people who are doing ordinary
things at unexpected times. I was in Los Angeles when people sleeping prepared to
celebrate a holiday. I was tumbled out of bed at 4:31 in the morning January 17,
1994- and hustled out to the parking lot just in case the building crumbled-it did not.
The damage from that quake covered 85 miles, all surrounding the spot where I had
lay sleeping. 61 people died. New words were added to my vocabuluary like
epicenter, magnitude, ground acceleration-coccidioidomycosis.

Coccidioidomycosis is a fungal disease caused by Coccidioides immitis or C.
posadasii. (Valley Fever), a respiratory disease caused by inhaling airborne spores.
The number of cases (203) in Ventura County, California was roughly 10 times the
normal rate in the eight weeks following the earthquake and three people died. It
is thought that the spores were carried in large clouds of dust created by seismically
triggered landslides. Most of the cases occurred immediately downwind of the
landslides...

I really could have done without learning that one.

I was in New York, on a perfectly normal day, September 11,2001; doing perfectly
normal things a few years later, when 2,753 people-right across the Hudson River-
I was on Staten Island at the time- were just evaporated-gone-no trace other than
dust left of them. I think this is when I became fascinated by forensic science.

I was back home in New Orleans -August 29, 2005 , when the levees broke, which
required me to be rowed down streets I had walked happily as a child. Rowed past
the floating bodies of those unfortunate departed souls who for whatever reason
got swept into the water. The numbers given out of the dead and the loss has been
under reported.

Then there was the explosion last summer of that started the BP disaster. That
began April 20, 2010. Forgotten -almost immediately was the fact that 11 people
were killed that day. I don't know the number who died from the stress of seeing
hundred year old family livelihoods wiped out.

So rather than spew out a lot of boring drivel about how I spend my days, today
I just want to pay tribute to those who have been lost and remembered by no one.
"The lives of the dead are deposited into the memory of the living".
I remember you.
I thank those who remember as well.

I don't have too much patience to follow most of the programs running online so I
pick a few to try on for as long as I like them.

Hello Adlanders,
The 4th of July (Independence Day) is a federal holiday in the USA commemorating
the Declaration of Independence in 1776, releasing British rule. Independence Day
is often associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics,
concerts, baseball games, family reunions political speeches/ceremonies, and other
public or private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the
United States.
In honor of this day, I have highlighted John Wayne... "The Duke"
saddling up to be one of America's favorite art forms, "The Western."

Below is some John Wayne trivia:

* April 6, 2004 Commemorative Postage Stamp by the US Postal Service
* Most leading parts as an Actor - 142; all but eleven films he played leading part
* Favorite Drink "Sauza Commemorative Tequila" on ice chipped from an iceberg
while on his yaht "Wild Goose"
* Offered the lead to star in "The Dirty Dozen" (1967) but chose "The Green
Berets"
instead (1968)
* Evening before a shoot, Wayne was trying to get some sleep in a Las Vegas hotel.
Directly below him was Frank Sinatra (not friends) who was having a party. The
noise kept Wayne awake, and each time he made a phone call to the front desk
to complain it would quiet for a short while, then grew louder. Wayne eventually
appeared at Sinatra's door and asked to stop the noise. A body guard approached
saying  "Nobody talks to Mr Sinatra this way." Wayne looking at the man, turns
as if to walk away, then backhands the guard, who falls to the floor and Wayne
knocks him out by crashing a chair on top of him. The party noise stopped!
*Wayne's spoken word by RCA Victor album "Why I Love Her" was surprise best
seller and Grammy Nominee when issued (1973)
* Although playing the same character in as in Ft Apache (1948), his character is
spelled with an extra e at the end of Rio Grande (1950)
* In the climactic scene of The Searchers (1956), Wayne and Natalie Wood run
up the side of a hill in Monument Valley Utah... and come down the other side in
Bronson Park, Los Angeles... (1,200 miles away!)
*Words of Advice: "Talk Low, Talk Slow, And Don't Talk Too Much."

In honor of "The Duke" please enjoy the video "Why I Love Her."

This month we're featuring a long standing friend of Adland... Mr William
(Bill) Vanderbilt. Bill is on a mission to alert us about the toxic chemicals
involved with mold and the illnesses that it causes.

Enjoy!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
                                                   CENTER STAGE

Hello Everybody,
I'm Bill Vanderbilt and I've been around Adland since August 10, 2005. LaNell
was my first friend and she introduced me to many great people here. I was born
on April Fool's day in 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio. Originally, I had two brothers
and two sisters and I am the oldest. My parents were divorced when I was about
11 and by age 12, Mom decided that going to live with my father for a couple of
weeks might teach me a lesson. I was a trouble maker and was a bit more than
she could handle. 2 weeks later, Mom, her new husband to be, and my brothers
and sisters all came to Dad's to get me. They were headed for Kansas where Ed,
our new step dad, had a job waiting for him at Forte Riley. He was a redeye missle
technician.  I decided to teach Mom a lesson and I refused to go. After some
serious talk and tears shed, they finally left, and I never saw them again until I
was 18 years old. My friend John and I were heading for California from New
Bethlehem Pa and I found them just by chance in Junction City Kansas. I had
heard that Mom lived there but I wasn't sure. I asked the postmaster in JC if he
could share their address. He thought long and hard and decided to tell me, for
which I was grateful. We went to Mom's house and knocked on the door. She
opened it a crack and asked if she could help. I said yes, my friend and I would
like to get a cup of coffee  and a bite to eat. She gave me directions to the nearest
diner and closed the door. She had no clue.  Yep, that was Mom, but if I knocked
again it would scare her so we turned to leave. Just then, the door open and Mom
stood there looking at me and said "Billy?" I said yea Mom, it's me. What a reunion.
I graduated from Chapman High a few months later. Then I moved back east,
married my high school sweetheart and moved to Texas to start college. After
joining the Air force, we had 2 beautiful daughters and divorced after 17 years
of total bliss... LOL. After years of wondering aimlessly I met another lady and we
had a son together. He is 15 now and I went to his Mother's wedding a couple of
years ago. We parted ways when Billy, my son was about 5. After several years I
met another lady.. and we had a daughter together... This would be Savannah Rose
that some of you know... that didn't work out either and I have not seen Savannah
for over 2 years now. I'm living with a dear lady named Deb, with her daughter who
is 33 and her grand daughter who is 7. We are quite happy in our situation and do
not plan on having any children. I love each child dearly and have no regrets with
regards to the Mothers...
My two main interests now are autism and toxic mold. Both of these have been very
well kept secrets in America... I am convinced after 8 years research that vaccines
are a primary cause of autism. Also, many illnesses we suffer from today are
related to exposure to toxic mold. I have a new group here on Adlandpro. It is an
advocacy group for more awareness about toxic mold. One of my threads lists the
symptoms for this terrible tragedy and y'all are invited to stop by my page and
have a look... You will be surprised at how many different illnesses and diseases
are linked to mold. I have been sick from it for 5 years now and there is little hope
for a complete recovery... I'd like to help other people avoid this illness and by
awareness...  this is probably the best way.

Here is my link to that page in case you want to check it out.
A List of Symptons For Toxic Mold
May a smile follow you to sleep each night... and be there waiting... when you awaken.

My name is Michael James Caron (Mike) and I was born (strangely enough) in the small village
of East Taunton, Massachusetts which is located four miles East of Taunton, Massachusetts,
(what a convienience.) I was the youngest of ten children. My mother planned to have more,
but when the doctor to one look at me he slapped my mother. In my early years,my parents
brought me to the zoo often, but I kept finding my way back home, so they gave up. I try not
to take life so seriously because after all, it's only temporary. When I was seven, one of my
brothers accidently hit me in the mouth with a Golf Club. (At least he said it was an accident)
This caused a painful trial period for me as kids at school constantly teased and ridiculed me
for my bad teeth. It was also a well learned lesson. To this day I will not put anyone down for
any reason because I know first hand that yes, names do hurt you. They scar you for a lifetime.
I served for five years in the United States Air Force, four years in the U.S. Army Reserve and
four years in the U.S. Army National Guard. In all three branches I was a Kook, I mean a cook.
I had one semester of college at El Centro Community College in Dallas, Texas. I have been
married three times. Quickly, I caught my first wife at least twenty-five times in bed with other
men, and got to the point that I could not forgive her anymore and got a divorce. My second wife
was vindictive from the start and after about sixteen years of misery, I left her in Taunton and
moved to Indianapolis. I knew my wife Shirley back in Taunton and we communicated back and
forth. Eventually, she moved to Indianapolis to be with me. We will be celebrating our sixteenth
wedding anniversary on August 19, 2011. I have related several stories about Shirley, but it boils
down to,in my world shrouded in deceit, rejections, ridicule, and nervous break downs, she was
the Angel sent by GOD to lift that veil and allow me to see the bright, shining sunshine once again. (It nearly blinded me) Shirley has a wonderful singing voice and she is a fantastic poet. In the
spring of 2003, she said that she was going to quit writing poetry because no one ever noticed
her poems. She had won several awards for her poetry and had many of them listed online. I told
her that GOD had given her the gift and that she should try to stick with it. About two weeks later, she received a letter in the mail. It was from the Entertainer Indi-Association informing her that she had been nominated for Silver Writer Artist of 2003. This opened up a new world for both of us. We have been Promoting Song Artists for Emerald Records ever since. The reason that this is so important is because Shirley is disabled and there are many things that she would like to do but can't and I am retired because most of my jobs have been in the Food Service business. Restaurants do not pay that well and on my last job I was only working ten hours a week. Others were working thirty ours a week, but they spoke a different language. I did work at the Zoo for awhile, but the Monkey finally got better and I lost that job. Working in most restaurants, you do not get all the hours that you would like, however it was a job that I was trained to do, so I did my best to hang in there...

Hello Adlanders,
Another month has come and gone, and with it, the loss of close to 300 lives from one of the
busiest tornado seasons on record since the early 1970s. They are saying the reason for all
these active storms is because of the tail end of La Nena, out in the Pacific and the southerly
course of the jetstream. The recent tornado yesterday tracked all the way from Tuscaloosa
Alabama up into North Carolina, approximately 500 miles. My heart goes out to all those folks
who have lost their homes and loved ones.

Many folks were disappointed today by the scrubbing of the Shuttle Endeavor. If you were
one of those who travelled miles to watch this event, I hope you'll be able to find something
else to do, like visit Adland while you are waiting for the delayed launch. Of course this
event was a big issue for us here in Arizona because of Congress Woman Gabriela Gifford,
who was shot back in January, and her husband, Mark Kelly, who is the Commander of this
final mission.

Another event which just took place during the wee hours of the day, was the wedding of
Prince William to Kate Middleton. I wish them well. They certainly are an adorable couple.

This month, I wish to honor my friend and cohort in the transportation industry, Mr
Guadalupe Picon. He is an accomplished internet marketer, as well as a truck driver. We
met on Adland several years ago, and have remained in touch since then.

May God be with you in the month of May, and for those who live in the northern parts of
the world, certainly you are blessed with the flowers that have come from the april showers!

     Sincerely,

     James Wright

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was June in Texas. Spring was about to take a back seat to the heat of Summer.

On June 17 in the year of 1973, I had just returned from a one-week vacation in Huntsville, Alabama … and from a 17-month tour of duty on Bitburg Air Force Base, Germany before that. I had returned home from my 3-years of active service in the U. S. Army on Father’s Day … a very appropriate gift for my father, WWII veteran, who was anxiously awaiting my return. My mother also, of course, went through the agony of years of awaiting the return of her future husband and her four sons.

I had volunteered for service during the Vietnam War, as both my brothers before me, straight out of high school with the intention of serving in Vietnam. My oldest brother, however, extended his tour in Vietnam 6 more months so that I would not be sent there.

I attended Army Basic in Ft. Lewis, Washington and ended up a member of that cycle’s best PT platoon, best marching platoon, and came away with an expert medal in the use of the M16-A1 rifle. It was really no big deal since our dad had taught us how to shoot long before we were even old enough or strong enough to hold a rifle!

Before joining the Army I had decided to try my luck at fixing things … so I became a light air defense systems electrical repairman … working on the Chaparral and Vulcan Air Defense Systems. I returned from Germany and received my honorable discharge with the rank of SP5 (Specialist 5th Class) - the equivalent of a 3-stripe sergeant.

Soon after I resumed civilian life, I took a correspondence course from the New York Institute of Photography. I worked at that from the late 70’s to 1998 when I turned to driving a big rig. While I was still in the field of photography, I also obtained a B.A. degree in elementary education, teaching only for a brief period ... my main interest still being photography.

Born on December 31, 1951, I am less than a year away from the big “six-oh.” I feel that I’ve lived longer than I deserve since my dad passed away at the age that I am now. Things never always turn out the way we want or expect, but I can’t complain.

My latest endeavor is in the field of online marketing … which is what brought me to AdlandPro. If only I had discovered AdlandPro when I FIRST started working online, I believe I would have hit pay dirt a LONG time ago. But like I said before, things don’t always turn out the way we want or expect. To those who are barely starting out in their online businesses, I HIGHLY recommend AdlandPro.

My only wish is to build my business to the point where I can leave driving behind and dedicate myself to my online endeavors on a full-time basis. With the help of OTHER online enthusiasts, I believe I can easily reach my online goals.

Best of luck in all you do.

                                                      Kathleen VanBeekom

I've been an affiliate of Adlandpro Classifieds since 1998 and I was getting most of my traffic
from there in the late 1990's.  Then I started with the Community in 2006 and gained a lot of
signups for my business offers and got to know a lot of people from around the world.  I still
run into lots of Adlandpro Community members all over the internet in different networks, people
from here recognize each other's names and photos for years!

What have I gained from Adlandpro?  Lots of contacts, and better social skills, yes, really!
Networking is a great way to hone our sociability.

What would I like to see more of?  Higher traffic like we had a long time ago...if everyone
who's also a member of Facebook would also click the F logo to share our posts to our Facebook
profile, that could create a snowball effect in getting people to click IN here from Facebook!

I owe my success to contacts I've made here, emulating people who are successful... Adlandpro
is PART OF our advertising efforts, even though we're all over the internet in dozens of places,
the classifieds/advertising area brings in clicks to our ads on a consistent basis.

Actually, the reason I got involved in the Community 5 years ago was to have something to do,
so people in my real life would think I was serious about online marketing, and then that
"having something to do online" became part of my day, every day.  The Community was a good
place to be.

It still should be, would be, could be greater than Facebook, yes, that IS my real opinion, IF
everyone here would blast Adlandpro forum posts to Facebook all the time, every day, and arouse
the curiosity of everyone on all of our Facebook friendship lists.

That's a simple thing to do and it can bring about fantastic results IF a lot of us will DO that.

Thanks for reading me, and I hope Adlandpro is still around for another 13 years, with more new
waves of great people, we all need to bring in more people to FIND those great people.

Looking for "something to do" in 1998 has brought about a lot of changes for me, a feeling of
success, higher income, good friends online and in real life ;)

It's also been a place for poetry, photos, life stories, and being ourselves, even if ourselves are
sometimes confrontational, that's being human, and the internet is all people, all the time.

I procrastinated in writing this, I wrote a list of my daily words and tried to think...

Relentless
Daily
Unique
Detailed
Exuberant

Those are all the things I am, whether they are good or bad, sometimes both, those are the words
that make us, change us, create our situations, make our days. Adlandpro also makes a lot of our days.

Does it make you exuberant? Is it unique enough to compete in 2011?  Did you like the details of my
write-in election of 2009?

I told some people that if they were more detailed in what they do, they'd earn more money, lol! I did
since last summer 2010, because I'm relentless, that also almost cost me a lot in personal relationships,
but I stay relentless in what I want, friendships will be maintained, relentlessly, if they are valuable.

Will we all work to maintain Adlandpro Community? Is it valuable enough to hold onto with fierce love
of "something to do, some place to be"?

I hope so with all new hopes from 1998 and 2006, daily relentless unique detailed exuberance, it was
here once, is it still here?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

March is marching right along, and soon April will be here. For most of us this means
showers, and lots of them. But this brings on the May flowers, and then we know
spring has really arrived.

This month my heart and prayers goes out to all the people who have been hurt or have
lost loved ones in the earthquake/tsunami disaster in Japan, and everyone else who
was affected by it. May God bring peace to those who remain.

This month I've chosen a friend and mentor whom I've known since her inception into
the Adland Community... her name is Kathleen VanBeekom.

Over the past year I have seen what a hard worker Kathleen is. Her devotion not only
to the community, but also her ability to commit. Once she decides to do something, she
sticks with her plan, and she has been well rewarded for it.

The Adland Community as a whole, has sometimes had the ability to voice opinions. This
in itself is actually a good thing, if done in the proper perspective. Kathleen is one of
these persons who will stand her ground if she believes what she is trying to represent
is of worthy note. I respect those who do this, so long as no persons are stomped on in
the process.

Let's welcome Kathleen VanBeekom to the Center Stage!
